These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover the installation itself: any work we do for you is governed by the written quote and contract you sign, and that contract wins if the two ever disagree.

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Prime Air Heating & Cooling LLC (“Prime Air”, “we”). By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information you give us.

2. Information on this site

The information on this site is general and provided to help you understand heat pumps and the work involved. It is not advice for your specific house.

Temperatures, sound ratings and other equipment figures are typical of current cold-climate equipment. Your quote lists the published ratings for the specific models proposed.
Rebate, loan and tax information summarizes programs run by others. Their rules and amounts change, and we confirm them for your address before we quote.
Drawings and the room-by-room plan on the home page are illustrations of a sample house, not a quote for yours.

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or always up to date.

3. Quotes, pricing and requests

Sending a request through this site, or calling us, does not create a contract or reserve a date. We will reply to arrange an assessment.
The only offer to do work is the written quote we give you after the assessment.
Work begins only under a written contract signed by you and by us.
Please give us accurate information. A quote based on information that turns out to be wrong may need to change.

4. Energy savings and rebates

Any estimate of operating cost or savings we give you is an estimate. Actual results depend on the weather, how you use the system, the condition of the house and the price of electricity and fuel.

Rebates, loans and incentives are decided by the programs that offer them, such as Mass Save, NHSaves, municipal light plants and participating lenders, not by us. We will explain what each program requires and help with the paperwork as described in your contract, but we cannot guarantee that you will qualify or what amount will be paid.

5. Your rights as a homeowner

These terms do not limit any rights you have under Massachusetts or New Hampshire law, including consumer protection law. In particular:

Written contracts. In Massachusetts, the Home Improvement Contractor law (M.G.L. c. 142A) requires a written contract for residential work over $1,000, and sets out what it must contain.
Right to cancel. If you sign a contract at your home, you may have the right to cancel it within three business days. Your contract will explain how.
Licensing and insurance. Our licenses, registrations and insurance are listed on our About page, so you can check each one with the agency that issued it.

6. Other websites and reviews

This site links to websites we do not control, including Mass Save, NHSaves and Google. We are not responsible for their content, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

When our reviews section is switched on, it shows reviews posted by customers on Google. They are the customers’ own opinions, shown as posted. We do not write, edit or pay for reviews.

7. Our content

The text, drawings and design of this site, and the Prime Air name and logo, belong to Prime Air. You are welcome to view, print and share pages for your own use, such as showing a family member or your condo association. Please do not copy them for commercial use, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

8. Using the site properly

Please do not use the forms to send spam or anything unlawful, try to break or overload the site, or collect information from it by automated means. We may block use that does any of these things.

9. Limits of liability

This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from using the website or relying on its general information, rather than on your quote and contract.

This section concerns the website only. It does not limit our responsibilities for work we perform, which are set out in your contract and in the law, and it does not limit any right that the law does not allow to be limited.

If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of the page. The version in effect when you sign a contract does not change that contract.
